Summary:The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, corporate credit card reconciliations, employee expenses, and various other transactional data. This position performs a range of general bookkeeping & accounting support functions for the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Collect and record Vendors & Suppliers invoices in the ERP system
- Process payments on a weekly basis
- Reconcile Suppliers monthly statements
- Record weekly bank transactions
- Monthly credit card reconciliations
- Process employee expense reports
- Review and submit invoice batches before final billing
- Maintain petty cash
- Update vendor’s records in the ERP system
- File, distribute mail and perform other administrative/clerical tasks
- Assist with Month-End accounting process
Education/Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in accounting
- Microsoft Office experience with strong Excel skills (pivot Table, vlook up, etc.).
- Quickbooks experience preferred
